The 9th International Exhibition of Livestock, Poultry and Fishery was inaugurated in Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi province, on Thursday.
Abbasali Khaksar, organizer of the exhibition, said 150 companies from Khorasan Razavi, South Khorasan, North Khorasan, Tehran, Isfahan, Fars, Khuzestan, Mazandaran, Golestan, East Azarbaijan, Markazi, Qom, Alborz, Qazvin, Semnan, Ilam and Lorestan provinces as well as a number of foreign countries are taking part in the expo.
"The latest products and achievements of participants in the field of the industries related to agricultural and fishery production and processing are on display in the expo," he said.
Khaksar noted that delegations from foreign countries, including Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Iraq, are expected to visit the expo that will last till Sept. 29.
