Media sources revealed in the British capital, on Tuesday, that the Board of Anbar province has informed it that Iraqi Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki will visit the province, while pointing out that "the agreement" will be with the federal government on the redeployment of the Awakening forces under the leadership of , Ahmed Abu Risha.

" Council of Anbar province has informed the newspaper that Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki will visit the province and that the agreement was with the federal government on the redeployment of the Awakening forces led by Sheikh Ahmed Abu Risha ," noting "if the government forces have benefited from a U.S. information in the ongoing operations in the province", "Al-Hayat" newspaper said in a report briefed "Shafaq News".

It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi government decided last summer to replace Wesam Hardan Abu Risha, what made a split in the ranks of the awakening, as dozens of leaders who fought with U.S. forces against armed groups rejected to join the new formations.

The newspaper highlighted the words of Vice- Chairman of the Board of Anbar province, Saleh al-Issawi in a statement that, "The security situation in the province has improved since a week " , adding that « the ongoing military operations on the outskirts of cities and in the desert are successful."

"The provincial council sponsored a meeting between the leaders of tribes and clans with security chiefs in the province as it was agreed to strengthen cooperation and help tribal security forces to detect the dens of insurgents for their commitment to human rights and to stop arbitrary arrests ," adding that " the federal government is really serious in controlling security in Anbar and has agreed to activate the Awakening forces led by Sheikh Ahmed Abu Risha , not awakening led by Wesam al-Hardan . "

"The security forces in Anbar used the information to U.S. intelligence during operations recently," noting that "this information led to the detection of al-Qaeda camp that was completely destroyed and arrested 24 wanted to judiciary ".

He pointed out that "the federal government sent last week 3000 soldiers to Anbar coming from the Middle Euphrates region under a plan to strengthen the security forces ," expecting " Maliki's visit , after the visit of a delegation from Baghdad provincial council to meet with the Prime Minister ".

The report quoted a member of the security committee in the province Suhaib al-Rawi as saying to the newspaper that " the security forces have launched a number of prisoners as a goodwill gesture towards their families and the Provincial Council launched an initiative for rapprochement between the army and the tribes ".

It should be noted that since the Syrian uprising against President , Bashar al-Assad in 2011 turned to armed action Anbar province witnessed a remarkable activity of armed groups linked to al -Qaeda ; as it also witnessed military operations carried out by the army in the desert of Anbar , but local politicians insist to say that the position of Awakening fighters , their support and activate their role will be crucial in defeating the anti-government militants and the extension of security.
