DUBAI, June 8th, 2009: H.H Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai on Monday separately received Consul General of Qatar Faris Bin Roumi Al-Nuaimi, Consul General of Palestine Hussain Abdul Khaleq and Consul General of Iraq Sadeq Khalifa who paid a courtesy visit to Sheikh Maktoum to mark their tenures as new consul generals in Dubai.
Welcoming the 3 diplomats, Sheikh Maktoum praised their efforts to build cultural, social and tourist bridges between the UAE and their respective countries. Present at the meetings were Governor of Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), Dr Omar Sulaiman, Executive Chairman Ports Customs & Freezone Corporation, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, chairman of Dubai Holding, Ahmed Bin Bayat and secretary general of Dubai Executive Council.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2009.
