HATTA, June 9th, 2008: Deputy Ruler of Dubai made field visits to a number of areas in Hatta to inspect the new residences which were built by Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) as grants to eligible fixed-income UAE nationals.
The 2-hour tour to in Al-Markaziyya, Hatta Sports Club, Sha?biyyat Al Salimi in Hatta city was carried out by Sheikh Maktoum upon instructions from Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai. Sheikh Maktoum inspects progress on the construction of around 5-bedroom 259 villas. The villas which cost around AED 800000 each are provided with full services and amenities. Sheikh Maktoum was accompanied by Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of The Dubai Rulers Court and Chairman of MBRHE, Dr. Omar Bin Sulaiman, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and other officials. Sheikh Maktoum met with citizens and promised to cater for their needs. The tour also took in the First and Second Dams in Hatta which were built by Dubai Municipality at a cost of AED 90 millions with a total storage capacity of around 20 million cubic meters of rain water.
