JEDDAH: Makkah Hilton & Towers has scooped the coveted award for 'Best Hotel Performance' at the prestigious Hilton Mideast Asia Pacific (MEAP) Annual Awards Distribution Ceremony for 2005 in Singapore. Hotel has achieved highest balance score card results for Hilton International MEAP region.
Shuja Zaidi, general manager of Makkah Hilton and Towers, Ibrahim Al-Fati Director of Operations, and Ibrahim Atwa Director of Business Development were present in Hilton Singapore to receive the Award in a ceremony hosted by Koos Klein, President of Hilton, MEAP."This is a tremendous achievement for Makkah Hilton & Towers," said Zaidi. "This award reflects success of our strong efforts to balance guest satisfaction, development of our team members' standing, and demonstrates exemplary Hilton service standards. This has positively reflected on revenue and therefore profits. We are proud to have delivered the best performance among all Hilton hotels in MEAP," he added.
Merit for the annual award is determined by the high levels of service and performance exhibited by the hotel. 2005 marks a significant year of development and progress for the leading hotel brand, during which all Hilton MEAP hotels performed strongly with a commitment to personal service and offering the finest facilities.
Makkah Hilton and Towers, the Holy City's landmark hotel has just undergone a complete renovation to better its appearance and facilities. The $30 million project will be completed by July 2007 and will see full renovation of hotel and towers.
