Dubai: Mahe Manipal emerged champions in the Skyline inter-university cricket tournament.
In the final played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Mahe Manipal defeated ECMIT by nine wickets.
Batting first, ECMIT were restricted to 106. Manipal raced to the target in just 10.1 overs.
Prasanth cracked an unbeaten 38 while Vikrant remained unconquered on 25.
Earlier, in the semifinals, Mahe Manipal stopped Bits Pilani by 63 runs while ECMIT outplayed University of Wollongong by six wickets.
In the Oasis Cup being held under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Counci, Fahad Butt steered Integrated Freight and Logistics (IFL) to victory through an unbeaten century in the 5th Oasis Chemicals cricket tournament.
