Distributor searches for media partners in the GCC

Avion will officially supply Magic Glass, a transparent in-store and corporate display, to the GCC, India and Pakistan in October immediately after Ramadan.

The company is currently seeking media partners to sell and distribute the ad space.

Magic Glass has already been soft launched in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and India. The product is currently being tested and monitored in Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.

Avion is expecting to roll out the product throughout the region by the end of the year.

Banks, malls, hi-end fashion boutiques, automobile showrooms and supermarkets are among the primary target clients for the display.

The signage is promoted on converting window-shoppers into walk-in customers, improving brand image, increase product awareness and for highlighting store promotions and its products.

Magic Glass is available in 100, 80, 60, 50 and 42-inch screens, with the biggest size costing $5,480 per unit.

"The product is built on cutting edge Japanese technology and manufactured in Switzerland," said Arif Jameel Auti, chief operating officer, Avion, which provides professional audio-visual displays in the region.

"These displays allow viewers to look at and see through the screen making it very useful in any retail environments as the screen becomes an integral part of the in-store layout.

"This concept allows Magic Glass to be hung or mounted where people will be most exposed to the messages such as in shop windows, above counters, store hallways, escalators and in cafs."

Additionally, Avion will also release another retail signage called Mirror TV within the next five months.
