Working as a station attendant at Enoc/Eppco stations, it is not easy to dismiss the lure of buying a Lexus Raffle Coupon.
Kuber Kumar Bhujel, a Nepalese, joined a group of seventeen people to buy nine coupons with a contribution of Dh 100 each. Kuber's coupon was the lucky coupon on January 18, and each member in the group won approximately Dh 27,000 each.
The second winner, Ahmed Ali Sheielo, Lebanese national who has been living in the UAE for 12 years, just bought two coupons, one of which has turned lucky for him. Ahmed intends keeping one car with himself and the rest he intends to invest in his project.
The Lexus Mega Raffle is offering 128 Lexus cars during the 32-day festival, Dh200,000 on a daily basis and whopping Dh1,000,000 cash on a weekly basis.
The daily prize is worth nearly Dh1 million.
Tickets for the capped raffle are priced at Dhs 200 each. Two lucky winners will be chosen at two separate daily draws with each winner winning two of the latest top-of-the-line luxury Lexus cars and Dh 100,000 in cash. Only 5,000 tickets will be sold for every draw.
The mega-surprise this year is the weekly draw of Dh1 million in cash. The winning raffle coupon for this draw would be selected from the lot of non-winning coupons of the week.
The prize for each winning raffle coupon will be the luxurious, exclusive and prestigious LX 470, the latest launch from Lexus, the ES 300, a five-speed automatic four-door sedan and Dh100,000 in cash.
Winners will have an option of choosing Dh100,000 either in the form of cash or in the form of Mashreq Millionaire Certificates of the same denomination.
The coupons for the mega raffle, priced at Dh200 each are available at select Enoc/Eppco stations in Dubai, BurJuman Centre shopping mall, Deira City Centre and Mercato Mall.
