KUWAIT, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- A 50-year-old Kuwaiti will try and prove that sports could be for everyone by going through a challenge to conquer the second tallest structure in the world, the CN Tower located in Toronto city, Canada.
Ali Al-Idan will begin his adventure on November 18th, trying to reach the top of the 553 meters tall building.
The physical therapist indicated that his new attempt would be the third of its kind after conquering the three Kuwait towers and the liberation tower in Kuwait. He noted that the attempt would be sponsored by Sheikha Fariha Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Speaking to KUNA, the Kuwaiti athlete stressed that sports were meant to be practiced by everyone, indicating that he would promote his view through reaching the top of the CN Tower which used to be the tallest building structure in the world before being ousted by Dubai Tower.
"I'm in great physical shape and ready to go," stated Al-Idan with confidence, revealing the secret of his success by saying "to tackle such a challenge one must ascend any tall building with a two or three stages strategy which would hopefully aid the challenger in his quest."
