KUWAIT: The Manager of the Air Pollution Detection Department at the Environment Public Authority (EPA) Dr Soud Al-Reshaid said that a new pollution detection station had been recently built in Rumaithiya and that this was the eighth pollution detection station in Kuwait.
 
He added that the new station was built within a comprehensive plan to increase the number of detection stations to 20 in the near future.

He also said that the gas pollution detection section at EPA was constantly working on ensuring that the air quality in the existing seven stations installed were all working effectively. The seven stations are located in Al-Mansouriya, Rabya, Riqqae, Jahra, Ali Sabah Al-Salem, Umm Al-Aish and Fahaheel.
