Appointments for US visa online
KUWAIT CITY: Beginning Sept 13, 2007, non-immigrant visa interview appointments at the American Embassy in Kuwait can be scheduled online at the Embassy website at http://kuwait.usembassy.gov. The Consular Section's new online appointment system will offer greater flexibility and convenience for tourists, business people and students traveling to the United States, says a press release issued by the embassy Monday. Users will be able to select a convenient date and time for their interview appointment and receive an immediate notice of confirmation. Rescheduling and cancellations of appointments can also be made using the same online system, which will be available 24 hours a day seven days a week in both English and Arabic. Instructions on how to use the new system as well as links to online visa application forms also can be found on the Embassy website.
The new online visa appointment system is the most recent feature of the Embassy's continuing efforts to make the visa application process quicker and more convenient. Prior improvements have included the introduction of an electronic application form, next-day interview appointments for students, and improvements to the Consular Section waiting area and parking lot to make them more comfortable and convenient.
