KLM Royal Dutch Airlines recently launched BlueBiz, its new corporate loyalty programme that promises a quick and easy way for companies to earn free tickets and other privileges with the airline.

The programme is aimed at offering privileges to companies who are currently not enrolled in an incentive scheme with KLM, even when the travel budgets are not considerably big.

With BlueBiz, companies can earn Blue Credits for tickets issued in the UAE and save these credits to redeem free tickets. Credits earned never expire, making the BlueBiz programme a viable product for companies of all sizes.

"With the introduction of BlueBiz, we aim to cater to a larger as well as a newer, untapped market, without the need to expand our physical sales force in the region. Companies can register into the programme online and also check their balances 24 hours a day," says Richard Oliver, general manager, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines - Arabian Peninsula, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and The Maldives.

When companies start earning Blue Credits, individual passengers will continue to earn Miles from the Flying Dutchman programme, one of the most generous loyalty programmes in the region.

"At KLM we understand the importance and the value of loyalty programmes to any frequent traveller. We look at our corporate loyalty programme, BlueBiz, as an investment in our corporate customers and a means to bring added value to our frequent flyers in an increasingly competitive airline industry," said Leon Weerts, regional marketing manager, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

As an incentive to kickstart the programme, KLM now offers 250 bonus Blue Credits for enrolments before July 1, who also make one transaction before September 1.

KLM operates daily flights to Amsterdam with a brand new Boeing 777 fleet, offering passengers excellent connections to a global network of over 400 destinations.
