Zarqa - His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Wednesday, congratulated laborers in the Kingdom on the occasion of International Labor Day and voiced pride in their efforts in building the country.
A Royal Hashemite Court tweet on social networking site, Twitter, quoted the King as saying: "Proud of Jordanians who roll up their sleeves & work hard to build our country, Jordan's strength lies in its people, Happy Labor Day." Marking the day, the King visited the Jordan-Korea Technology Institute in the eastern Zarqa town of Hashyemia and met with workers and trainers and treated them a lunch banquet.
The King toured a number of the institute's modern laboratories and met with vocational and technology trainees who voiced their keenness to learn advanced technical qualifications that enable them in the labor market.
