Amman - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Wednesday patronized the graduation ceremony for the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team , at The King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC).
Director General of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) Lieutenant General Hussein Majali said that the SWAT team was formed to support the PSD and enable it to better perform its duties.
He added that a number of Bahraini officers attended the SWAT training programs to enhance their capabilities and benefit from the Jordanian expertise in the field of police work.
The ceremony was attended by a number of princes, officials and military attaches.
