Amman - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday accepted the credentials of a number of newly-appointed ambassadors to Jordan.
They envoys are Slovakia's Ivan Surkos, Japan's Junichi Kosuge, Gambia's Omar Saleh, San Marino's Giancarlo Ghironzi, and Belarus's Aleg Yermalovich.
Upon arriving at Basman Palace, the King reviewed a guard of honor as a military band played the national anthem.
The new ambassadors laid wreathes on the tombs of late King Hussein Bin Talal, King Abdullah Bin Al Hussein I, and King Talal Bin Abdullah.
The ceremony was attended by Royal Court Chief Khalid Karaki and Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh.
