Jordan and Moroccan on Tuesday discussed means of strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.

During a meeting between Chairman of Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Nael Kabaritiand, and his Moroccan counterpart and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services in the Tangier region in Morocco, Omar Moro, the two officials focused on important ways to boost investment cooperation between the two countries and exchange of visits.

Kabariti stressed the depth of relations between the two countries in various domains, saying that Jordan is looking forward to promoting trade and said the Kingdom's exports to Morocco during eleven months of last year reached JD 4.8 million, compared to JD 3.12 million of imports.

Kabariti called to overcome all obstacles facing the private sector in the Arab countries to improve the Arab industries and make them capable of competing in the regional arena.

The Moroccan official expressed the keenness of the private sector in the his country to enhance economic cooperation and to establish business partnerships with Jordan. He also stressed the need to activate the signed agreements, especially those provided by "The Agadir Agreement," which includes the two countries as well as Tunisia and Egypt.
