Following the recent demise of its founder, Jawad A Sultan, Oman-based Jawad Sultan Group said it has successfully completed the corporate and business restructuring of its various businesses. The companies within the group will now be overseen by family members.
Accordingly, Aqeel Jawad Sultan has been appointed the group chairman and Nabeel Jawad Sultan the group managing director.
Upon assuming office as chairman, Aqeel said that the group is bullish about its various plans and given the country's expansion drive in infrastructure, they will have a far-reaching beneficial impact on the group's fortunes.
The Jawad Sultan Group of companies include Capital Store, Jawad Sultan Technologies, Oman Arab Cinema Company, Jawad Sultan Travel Agency, Jawad Sultan International, International Travel Agency, Jawad Sultan Electronics & Communication, Sultan Restaurants & Catering and Mina Hotels Company.
The group is looking to expand in its domain areas of operation and major forays are being planned in core businesses.
