Jarir Bookstore has announced the opening of its third showroom in Qatar, bringing the total number of Jarir outlets to 33 in Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries. The new move is part of its continued efforts to achieve the target announced earlier to open seven new showrooms during 2014, as well as to meet its strategic plan to expand across Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Gulf, said a Jarir statement posted on Tadawul website. Abdulkarim Al-Agil, CEO of Jarir Marketing Company, said the new showroom consisted of two floors with 3,500 square meter space." It has the complete range of Jarir products aimed at providing a great experience to customers."
Al-Agil said the new showroom is having many elements to make it a successful one including, but not limited to, its "unique dynamic" location at Airport Road surrounded by a lot of hotels, banks, foreign embassies in addition to the Metro Central Station that will make this showroom reachable by many of the customers in Qatar. The new showroom will play a major role in increasing the turnover and profit of the company, he added. Jarir bookstore invested more than SR20 million in this new showroom, which includes all Jarir items of office and school supplies and a wide range of Arabic and English books, in addition to a huge number of arts and engineering materials.
The Jarir statement said its management has given special care to the sections of personal computers, laptops, tablet PCs, computer programs and peripherals in addition to smart phones and electronic games by having a wide range of latest technologies of the best international brands with competitive prices. Four of them will be opened during the first half of the year. Arrangements have been made to ensure successful execution of the company's plan to reach all Jarir customers inside and outside Saudi Arabia, which consequently will increase the profitability of the shareholders of the company.
