Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology said on Friday that it has developed a plan to erect three developed rain radars in three airports to be added to the radar that has been used recently in Baghdad International Airport.
"The Authority has completed operating the predictive radar of clouds and rain at Baghdad International Airport, which covers a radius of 300 km," The director of Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology, Ali Abdul Khaliq told "Shafaq News ".
"The Organization will begin to erect the second radar, which was imported in Anah area and import two Radars to be erected in Basra and Mosul airports," Abdul Khaliq added.
Finnish experts from Vezala company have helped experts from Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology to install the radar at Baghdad International Airport.
