TEHRAN (PIN) -- Head of electricity department of technical office at Tavanir Company announced that electric optimization has been carried out at unit 4 of Shahid Abbaspour power plant.

Sasan Marbut noted that the old dynamic system was replaced with a new static stimulation system.

"The new system is more sensitive toward voltage changes in the power grid and responds more rapidly," he said.

Shahid Abbaspour power plant is located 200 km from Ahvaz and 55 km from Masjed Soleiman and is capable of producing 2,000 MW of electricity.
