JEDDAH: Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently hosted the "India Textiles Buyer-Seller Meets." Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretary-General Adnan H. Mandourah and Indian Consul General Faiz Kidwai inaugurated the two-day exhibition.
Mandourah said Saudi Arabia and India share a very good relationship, and this is an opportunity for Indian investors to invest in the Saudi market.
Kidwai said the textiles and fabrics field is the first largest industry worldwide, adding that India is also the fourth largest textiles and fabrics producer and exporter.
The exhibition was an assortment of different types of textiles, which included a company that sells fiber made from recycled polyester.
Ten textile companies took part in the exhibition.
