Carlyto Mouhini Singh, the Indo-Latin Bollywood pop singer, is set to entertain visitors to the Indian pavilion at the Global Village next week, officials said.
"Mouhini is back by popular demand," said Sunil Bhatia, chief executive of the Indian pavilion.
Her fans gave her a warm reception at the Indian pavilion during the Dubai Shopping Festival 2002.
"We thought it would be right to bring her back again, with some new hits."
Seats will be available inside the pavilion on a first-come-first-served basis. Her performance from January 20 to 22 kicks off at 8:30 pm in the 1,500-seat amphitheatre in the pavilion.
Mouhini has original tracks and duet film songs in many Bollywood titles, including Excuse me! Kya Re from Ishq Chandi Hai-Ishq', Sona Hai from Biwi No.1, Akhiyon se Goli Mare from Dulhe Raja, Dilli ke Sardi and Dekle Sikle from Munnabhai MBBS.
"Music is my breath; I do a lot of research on music. I'm passionate about it," Mouhini said.
"You need passion in order to accomplish something in life. One must be disciplined, passionate, sincere, dedicated and follow one's line with patience and tolerance," she said.
