SOHAR -- The International Maritime College Oman (IMCO) conducted a strategic workshop under the theme "IMCO Vision & Strategy' at Crowne Plaza Sohar on April 23, under the patronage of Said bin Hamdoon bin Saif al Harthy, Under-Secretary of Ministry of Transport and Communication for Ports and Maritime Affairs, IMCO Board of Directors Chairman.
The Chairman of the College Board of Trustees Harib bin Hamad al Kitani, President & CEO of Qalhat LNG, and the members of the College Board of Directors and Trustees participated in the workshop in addition to experts from The Netherlands represented by the college partner STC Group. IMCO Heads of Academic and non academic departments also attended the workshop.
The workshop also focused on the means of communication between the various Higher Education sectors and the local community as well as issues related to marketing. The workshop was led by Dr Mohammed Benayoune, President & CEO of The Achievement Centre, a centre that provides professional and leadership development programmes, coaching, and strategic planning to large and small companies throughout the world.
