President of Hungary, Janos Ader, on Monday, met with Lower House Speaker, Atef Tarawneh, and discussed with him ways to cement ties between Jordan and the eastern European nation.
The Hungarian leader hailed His Majesty King Abdullah II's wise policies and endeavors to promote peace in various spots of the world, particularly in the Middle East.
He also paid tribute to Jordan's efforts in hosting massive waves of refugees from its unrest-hit neighbors. Ader urged the international community to provide further support to the Kingdom to help it continue its humanitarian role.
The meeting dealt with prospects of further enhancing cooperation between Jordan and Hungary in various domains, especially in economic areas. Tarawneh highlighted Jordan's efforts to bring about comprehensive political and socio-economic reform.
