Dubai, 6th May 2010 (WAM) -- The Learner Relation Management of the Learners Council at Hamdan bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU) today organized a visit to Al Mamzar Centre for the Elderly. The visit was conducted by many HBMeU learners in line HBMeU strategy in terms of keeping strong relationships with the UAE community through coordinating such activities.
"This visit came in implementation of an action plan prepared by our Management for keeping effective and efficient involvement with the entire UAE community, enhancing the value of social solidarity within the learner society and shedding light on charity and humanitarian efforts exerted for more united and consolidated community." Said Amira Al Bloushi, Head of Learners Relation Management. Jameela Bahzad, an HBMeU learner and visit coordinator, said that the Center Management was very pleased to welcome the HBMeU learners; and added they expressed their appreciation for the visit and escorted the learners introducing them to different facilities available for the elderly throughout the Center.
