BAGHDAD: Iraq Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi met today King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, according to a statement issued by his office.
The statement , copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, said that Hashimi attended the banquet made in Safa palace. It added that Hashimi met Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, the second deputy to Saudi cabinet and Interior Minister.
The statement noted that these meetings were held during Hashimi's visit to Saudi Arabia for the last days of Ramadan.
