Dubai, 24 Nov. 2009 (WAM) - Hadeed Emirates Contracting (HEC), a leading UAE-based turnkey contracting company and Litana, a leading European construction company based in Lithuania, have entered into a joint venture to execute world-class projects by importing manpower from Europe, with a strong commitment to highest standards and timely delivery.

Under the proposed joint venture, Litana will deploy European supervisors, engineers, welders, erectors, pipe fabricators, pipe fitters and other skilled workers, so as to execute HECs projects in shorter time schedules, and with a smaller workforce.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the two companies on the sidelines of The Big 5 exhibition in Dubai, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, from November 23 to 26, where HEC and Litana are showcasing their completed and future projects.

The MOU was signed by Nasser El Ali, COO of Hadeed Emirates Contracting and Vaidas Rudis, Regional Director, MENA, Litana Group of Companies.

"With offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah and Jordan, Hadeed Emirates Contracting, a leading ISO-certified turnkey contracting company, has successfully executed hundreds of turnkey industrial and commercial projects in four emirates, and has earned exscellent reputation in the field," said Nasser El Ali, COO of HEC.
