Muscat: Great Vision LLC plans to venture into the joinery and construction business. Speaking exclusively to Times Business, Yaqoob Ghori, managing director of Great Vision LLC, whose gypsum decoration business has carved a niche among the elite here, said, "The joinery unit will focus on state-of-the-art interior carpentry.

"Since we already have a specialised team of craftsmen and technicians and machinery in our full-fledged gypsum factory, we don't need big investments." He further added, "Currently, we source carpentry works from outside the company, and we now feel that we should have a joinery plant since we have good projects at hand."

Great Vision was established in Oman in 1985, and its portfolio of completed projects include Minister's offices, lift niches for Al Alam palace, part of Al Bustan Palace, and exclusive villas and mosques; its client list also includes the Crowne Plaza, Radisson Blu, Hotel Holiday Inn, Hotel Seeb Novotel, and Grand Hyatt Muscat. Yaqoob remarked, "This is an era of specialisation and exclusiveness. Luxury hotels and designer homes are increasingly designed to meet specific needs, with a focus on great interiors. Clients are willing to pay for high-end features and specifications."

"Our experience in the domain of gypsum decoration and interior design and our emphasis on refined quality works ensure that our clients return to us again and again to meet their needs."

Fuad Ghori, Yaqoob's son, who supports his father in the business, stated, "We create spellbinding interiors for grand villas, with intricate stencil work, fabulous decorative paintings, and thoughtful ceiling/wall gypsum decorations that exude charm and warmth and are ornate yet have a refreshingly modern ambiance. We help make your home the perfect dream abode with a classy touch and unmatched elegance.

"If you are a person who is unwilling to compromise on quality and value, Great Vision invites you to come and see for yourself the kind of exquisite work our people are capable of," he added.
