MUSCAT -- His Eminence Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamed al Khalili hailed Oman-India relations saying they have been on a highly progressive mode and would further improve over the days to come. He was receiving the Jama'et Islami Kerala Ameer T Arifali and the Media One TV channel CEO Abdusslam Vaniyambalam and other representatives of Kerala Islamic Association yesterday.
"Kerala is truly a God's own country as is implicit in its very name. Khair Allah means blessings of Allah and Kerala truly has that divine touch. Omanis and Indians, Keralites in particular have bilateral relations that trace origin some thousands of years ago", he told the representatives who visited him in his office. He urged them to spread the word of Islam, the true meaning of the religion, and about the life that the Prophet Mohammed's religion is envisaging for the society.
