KUWAIT, July 15 (KUNA) -- A gas-filled cylinder on a maintainance truck belonging to a company that looks after the air conditioning system at Kuwait's international airport exploded, causing three other cylinders nearby to catch on fire, said an airport official on Tuesday.
Director of operations at the civil aviation department Isam al-Zamil told KUNA that the incident did not result in any material damage and no one was injured.
The truck was carrying the four gas-filled cylinders on a side road away from the airport terminal, he said, adding that the airport fire brigade came immediately to the scene of the explosion and fire and promptly extinguished everything.
