ProServ, a process excellence solution's provider in the Middle East, has recently completed the implementation of an electronic quality management system (eQMS) at GAC Jordan, a member of the GAC Group and a leader in shipping and logistics services, that will enable the company to better manage and digitise it's quality management system's procedures and associated documentation helping to reduce inefficiencies and optimise productivity. The eQMS is based on the business process analysis (BPA) solution of iGrafx and will ?reate a central repository for sharing and communicating process knowledge whereby all GAC's procedures, flowcharts and documentation can be managed and published to staff via the company's intranet, enabling a high level of communication and collaboration throughout the company's offices.
Fadi Nasser, general manager of GAC Jordan, stated: "The implementation of the eQMS will enhance the company's productivity and efficiency by simplifying and improving communication between departments and staff. At the?same time, we will have improved document control in addition to moving us closer to becoming a paperless office and a more environmentally responsible company by reducing our need for sharing hardcopy documents."
