DUBAI - Tezkar Electricals, a distributor of energy efficient electrical products based in Sharjah has launched a fuel saver in the UAE which, they claim, can save up to 20 per cent of fuel bill.
The Tezkar Fuel Saver is a fuel economiser and pollution reduction device which utilises magnetic hydrodynamic technology to improve the combustion of hydrocarbon fuels.
The device is manufactured in Malaysia and can be easily installed in cars, vans, pick-ups, busues, motor boats, trucks and taxis.
At a press conference held yesterday in Dubai, R Anwar Sadath, sales manager of Tezkar Electricals, said: "The technology used in manufacturing this device is from Germany and it is made of high quality magnetic material which can last 8 to 10 years without any maintenence. Moreover, it works equally well on all types of fuels including leaded, unleaded, diesel and gasoline. It is also very environment friendly as it reduces 30 to 50 per cent carbon emissions and 15 to 20 per cent reduction in nitrogen emissions.''
He also explained the technology and installation procedure of the fuel saver and said: "The installation is very simple, the Tezkar Fuel Saver can be clipped close to the carburettor or fuel injector rail, and secure it in place (at both ends) using the cable ties provided. When the fuel is passed through the fuel saver, the hydrocarbon molecules are temporarily ionised and create positively aligned molecules. The ionised hydrocarbon fuel results in a complete combustion when in contact with the negative oxygen (air-fuel mixture).''
When asked about the cost of the product and availability in the UAE, he said: "The fuel saver is very reasonable priced at Dh149 and is available from the company directly as salesman has been employed for sell in directly to the customer for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The company will try to sell this product by showcasing it in hypermarkets, supermarkets and car workshops and service centres in the near future.''
Apart from vehicles where it can be used effectively, it can also be used in big kitchens where boilers are used and it will not deteriorate with time. The company plans to export this product to other AGCC countries and the Indian sub-continent.
