KUWAIT - Schneider Electric launched its new generation low voltage switchboards Prisma Plus and Blokset in Kuwaiti yesterday. The company held a seminar at Radisson SAS Hotel on Tuesday evening to mark the product launch.
The seminar was inaugurated by French Ambassador to Kuwait Corinne Breuze who congratulated Schneider Electric for launching the new product in Kuwait.
The new generation switchboards will provide solutions to customers with greater flexibility. The fully type-tested Prisma Plus and Blokset panels are now available through the local switchgear partners of Schneider Electric in Kuwait - Al-Nisf Swithchgear Plant.
Designed by Schneider Electric in France, the Prisma Plus proposes a wide range of technical solutions, from the simplest to the most sophisticated, for the assembly of up to 3200 A LV switchboards. This comprehensive offer covers all electrical distribution and control needs of building utilities. For applications greater than 3200A and for draw out starter applications, Blokset switchgear assembly is available.
Prisma Plus and Blokset innovates and " simplifies the LV switchboard ". The internal arrangement is logical and clear for quick, targeted interventions. The installation system, now re-devised, ensures easy implementation. Distribution and connections incorporate innovating standardised solutions. These tested components guarantee rapidity and compliance with customer commitments.
The Prisma Plus and Blokset type tested switchboards comply with standard IEC 60439-1, IEC 60529 and IEC 62262. They guarantee protection of people, installations and the applications served and allow prompt intervention at all times. The safety offered by these solutions is also a guarantee for the customer to be able to upgrade his switchboard quite naturally according to his new requirements.
