For its 6th stopover Mediterranean, "Thalassa" the French TV program, broadcasting every Friday, choose to make an expedition to Tunisia.
Sea, land and sky, past and present, mythical places, tourist areas have been explored with ingenuity and nostalgia. Away from the tourist well-known expeditions, the journey began on the side of the Northwestern of Tunisia, specifically from the Algerian-Tunisian border.

In Mahdia, "Thalassa" team arrives at the hour of prayers but shooting continued. Guided by Selma Hafsa, an archaeologist, the team went to the souk in the capital of Hafsid. This city is open to mass tourism, but its people remain attached to their customs.
