Jazeera Airways, a Kuwaitbased private low-cost carrier, yesterday announced thrice-weekly flights to the Cypriot city of Larnaca from Dubai from March 26.
The airline said it will operate new Airbus A320 aircrafts on the route, with tickets priced at Dh270 for a one-way journey. Flights from Dubai will depart every Monday, Thursday and Saturday and will have a stopover at Kuwait.
The airline's website www.jazeeraairways.com offers travellers the option to book their tickets online, pay and reserve their seats and also change their booking up to three hours before the flight.
Alternatively, bookings can be made through the airline's customer support call centres or through their travel agents.
Situated on the south-east coast of Cyprus, Larnaca is known for its picturesque seafront, the ruins of Ancient Kitium which date back to the 13th century and the famous marble bust of Stoic philosopher Zeno. The town also boasts a variety of restaurants.
Launched in October 2005, Jazeera Airways serves 19 destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent.
