Abu Dhabi, May 30th,2007 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of Family Development Foundation and H.H.
Sheikha Shamsa bint Suhail, Wife of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa binZayed Al Nahyan, attended Wednesday night a graduation ceremonyof the fourth batch at the Zayed Girls Academy.Among the batch of 22 graduates were Sheikha Fatima bint Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikha Shamsa bint Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan.
In an address on the occasion, Sheikha Fatima highlighted therole the Academy plays in educating and preparing UAE girls to keep abreast of modern time trends and its advanced technology.
''Year after year,the Academy is delivering its mission of servinglocal community properly,'' Sheikha Fatima said in an address read onher behalf by Sheikha Fatima bint Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Sheikha Fatima urged the graduates to puruse their highereducation with success in different specializations which ''We needand allow the UAE girls contribute positively to the nation building.
''Our hopes in you are great .......our ambitions are boundlessand our support is incessant for the sake of a better future to our next generations,'' Sheikha Fatima added.
Director of the Academy Barbara Mackinzey said the batch was oneof the largest that scored sounding success. She described Shekha Fatimaas a model student.
The function was attended by Sheikha Salama bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, wife of General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, wife of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikha Al Yaziya bint Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, wife of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Sheikha Ausha bint Khalifa bin ZayedAl Nahyan, Sheikha Shama bint Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikha Maryambint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan and a number of Sheikhas,leaders of women movement and guardians of students.
