Emirates National Group (ENG) has launched a new company, which will be based in Dubai, offering express delivery service.

Fast Express will promote through ENG's database of industry and corporate customers via direct mailers. Additionally, an ATL brand awareness campaign will be implemented to introduce the brand into the market, according to Esra Tuncok Kilyar, group marketing manager at ENG.

"The express and logistics industry is growing at 30% annually. In the UAE, it is valued at $3.78 billion," said Ahmed Abood Al Boasy, group general manager, ENG. "Saudi Arabia and the UAE account for 55% and 35% of this market, respectively."

"In the near future, we would like to see Fast Express cater to the public sector, as well as reach regional and international networks outside the GCC area," said Kartik Pandit, general manager, Fast Express.

Based in Abu Dhabi, ENG owns brands like Fast Rent a Car -- its flagship, Fast Limo, Fast Recovery, and Sharjah's Emirates Taxi service.

In addition to debuting Fast Express, ENG is already planning the launch of two more companies before year end. The two firms, which will both deal with automotives, have yet to disclose details of their services.
