Abu Dhabi: A seminar was held yesterday to announce the launch of Shaikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme aimed at developing human resource leadership in federal government employees.
Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Governmental Sector Development, launched the programme in the presence of more than 80 federal government employees at the Abu Dhabi Armed Forces Officers Club, Al Mansouri told officials to give top priority for the programme and to draw effective strategies to be applied to all federal staff.
Dr Ali Bin Aboud, Undersecretary at the Ministry, Dr Abdullah Al Jallad, a quality management expert at the ministry, and Ahmad Nousairat, the General Coordinator of Dubai Programme for Government Excellence, presented details to the participants.
"Excellence is a basic need to enhance the development drive that is taking place in the UAE, and we are keen to follow all standards of excellence and development in order to achieve the success for this programme, which holds the name of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan," Al Mansouri said.
The Shaikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme provides prizes and special motives to encourage employees to enhance their performance.
