Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), a Dubai-based government company, has invited expressions of interest (EOI) from international EPC contractors for construction of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) terminal project at Luderitz port in Namibia.
Contractors, experienced in the detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of similar mounded LPG bulk storage terminals of capacity 3000 MT or more, can send their response within one week from 5 February, 2014.
The detailed prequalification questionnaire will be sent only to the shortlisted contractors.
The project, handled by ENOC and its associates Emirates Gas LLC and Corridor Gas & Oil Terminal, involves construction of facilities such as design and installation of 8" NB buried LPG liquid pipeline with 3 LPE coating and impressed current cathodic protection from the berth to terminal including LPG receipt facility at the berth; design, fabrication and erection of mounded LPG bulk storage vessels (3 x 1000 MT capacity; about 7 m diameter x 52 m long) at the terminal and LPG tank truck loading facility with two bays and batch controller based loading.
Additionally, the scope covers engineering, procurement and installation of DG sets, air compressors, fresh water systems; installation of firewater network, gas detectors, firewater tanks and firewater pumps (UL listed); construction of control room cum office building, MCC room, miscellaneous buildings, roads and other civil works and associated electrical and instrumentation work including control system for the terminal operations and safety.
