Emirates Bank has expanded its network of self-service terminals to more than 145.

They combine ATMs, automated instant cash deposit machines and automated cheque deposit machines.

This is in tune with the bank's strategy to take its services closer to the customer.

The bank recently installed ATMs in high growth areas including Dubai Knowledge Village, Dubai Media City and Ibn Battuta Mall.

It is installing ATMs in the Ajman and Sharjah City Centres.

The bank has plans to expand its network to other high growth areas in the country.

It posted a net profit of Dh271.4 million for the first quarter of this year yesterday.

Total assets of the bank grew from Dh38.06 billion on December 31 to Dh41.99 billion on March 31.
