Mashreqbank has launched an account specially designed for Emarati students.
The Emarati Student Package (ESP) has been tailored with the assistance of students from the UAE Higher College of Technology (HCT) and is positioned as an account for Emaratis designed by Emaratis.
It is a current account with a debit chip card and an online-based savings account. Students can access both saving and current accounts over the internet and via ATMs worldwide.
The package, first of its kind, is also free of any fees and has no required minimum balance. HCT has colleges across the UAE expect in Ajman and Umm Al Quwain.
"We strive to cater to different sectors of the community based on their expectations of satisfying banking relationship. This has included locating branches and ATMs in locations convenient to the large college and university communities,' said Atif Bajwa, head of Retail Banking Group, Mashreqbank.

This reflects the amount of potential talents we have in our new generation that will come to the banking industry of the UAE," said Shatha Al Meamari, Emiratisation manager of Mashreqbank.
