GAFSA - Presidential candidate Ahmed Safi Saïd started his election campaign in the governorate of Gafsa from the cities of El Guettar and Sned where a tent was installed for promotional activities, along with music animation in the two weekly markets, regional co-ordinator of the electoral campaign Slim Saïdia told TAP correspondent.
Supporters of Ahmed Safi Saïd distributed to citizens leaflets containing information on the candidate who placed his candidacy for the presidential pol, under the banner of the challenge.
The electoral programme of this candidate entitled "Tunisian adequation: sovereign programme" contains 16 points dealing with the candidate's vision about national security, the state, the army and the Tunisian diplomacy.
Besides, the candidate calls in his electoral programme, for a new administrative division including 6 districts and the eradication of terrorism, smuggling and sources of violence which find their roots in poverty, corruption and marginalisation.
The candidate outlined his vision about the institution of the Presidency of the Republic, which, according to him, must be strong and independent as a driving force of change and guarantor of adequacy of democracy, development and equality, away from party politics."
