Dubai, June 7th, 2011 (WAM) -- TECOM Investments, a diversified conglomerate and a member of Dubai Holding, today announced eight of its specialised business parks have received international certificates for their Environmental Management System Standard and Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard from Det Norske Veritas (DNV).

The Environmental Management System Standard (ISO 14001:2004), and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard (OHSAS 18001:2007) are two of the worlds most accredited certifications. DNV is one of the world's leading certification bodies offering management systems certification services.

The TECOM Business Parks that received the certifications include Dubai Internet City, Dubai Outsource Zone, Dubai Media City, Dubai Studio City, International Media Production Zone, Dubai Knowledge Village, Dubai International Academic City and DuBiotech.

The international certification received by the TECOM Business Parks bear testimony to the adoption of the highest global standards in management, follow-up and improvement of the health, safety and environment systems.
