AHVAZ - An Iranian investor has signed an agreement with the Arvand Free Trade Zone Organization to spend over 20 billion rials (nearly $2.17 million) on building an e-commerce complex in the southern FTZ.
According to ILNA, the project includes construction of a four-story office block with 200 shops, a three-story residential block consisting of 100 suites, a revolving restaurant and two recreation grounds. Arvand FTZ is located in southwest of Iran (northwest of Persian Gulf) and has a population of about 500,000. It also shares borders with Iraq and Kuwait. The region is a major agricultural and fishing center as it includes the rivers of Karun and Arvand and vast plains of Khuzestan.
