MUSCAT -- Technical experts from Doosan Infracore were recently in Oman to conduct a two-day training at the Al Hashar Technical Training Centre focusing on the benefits of Doosan products and 'Moxy Articulated Dump Trucks' (ADT) that will be introduced to the GCC markets in 2009.
Product Support Manager of Doosan Infracore Middle East Hamid Malik administered the training for key staff members from all the branches of Al Hashar & Co who are the exclusive dealers for Doosan range of wheel loaders, excavators and ADT in Oman. Woong Soong Choi, Branch Manager, Doosan Infracore Middle East Centre was also present on the occasion.
The first day detailed the maintenance package of Doosan equipment under the Packaged Service and Parts Programme (PSPP) that would enhance customer support activity in after sales. "PSPP is a win-win module for Al Hashar that would help to enhance the machine sales in the Sultanate of Oman," said Sanjay Pandit, Head Group Automotive Products, Al Hashar & Co. Under this programme, the customers also reap benefits of special prices in service and parts.
Doosan certifies that the vehicles at the end of the PSPP contact will add value to the customer in re-selling the machine to a second user. Training on the new range of wheel loaders, excavators and ADT from Moxy was conducted on the second day. Early this year, Doosan Infracore acquired the Norwegian articulated off-road dump truck manufacturer Moxy with the objective of becoming the global top three by 2012 in the Infrastructure Support Business.
