Dolphin Village has completed its third phase of expansion, adding an extra 68 homes to its Bausher-based development, as it seeks to build 143 residences in the next two years.

The 68 new homes are made up of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments as well as two-bedroom twin villas. The next phase of 20 new homes is expected to be ready by October.

Yahya Mohammed Nasib, chairman of Yahya Group Holding, said that Dolphin Village 'is growing and improving,' with more modern facilities including a gym, tennis courts and a full service spa.

He said, "We have found our true niche in the market where people can live in a community with options on the type home they want; from unfurnished to fully serviced including maid service and laundry done by our own Snowhite laundry."

Ken Mueller, general manager of Dolphin Village, outlined the expansion plans for the residential complex, adding that 50 per cent of the third phase has already been let out.

He said, "We are proud of Dolphin Village and Yahya Construction; we have built quality housing and expanded our residential resort. Today we are opening 68 new homes and in the next two years we will add an additional 143 residences, two swimming pools and a beautiful new club house.

"This type of expat community is unique in Oman and we are determined to keep Dolphin Village as the place of choice to live."

The final phase of the Dolphin Village expansion is expected to be completed in 2014, with two thirds of the work already completed.
