Dolphin Receives Technical Bids For Two Gas Distribution Projects

Dolphin Energy announced on 22 February that it had received technical bids from pre-qualified bidders in response to two invitations to tender for its Eastern Gas Distribution System (EGDS) project. Evaluation is under way, with awards likely in May. The EGDS project covers engineering, procurement and construction of civil, pipelines, mechanical, SCADA, telecommunication and electrical works with respect to expanding, modifying and upgrading existing the UAE’s Eastern Gas Distribution System. The tender also covers construction of a new Dolphin Operation/Administration building facility at al-Maqta Gas Terminal and expanding the Control Building at al-'Ain Gas Terminal.
For the Civil and Fiber Optic Cable EPC Works, bids were received from: Consolidated Contractors International Company (CCC); Al-Husam General Trading Etablishment; Contracting and Trading Company (CAT); and Punj Lloyd. The following bid for the East and West EPC Works: Consolidated Contractors International Company(CCC); Technip and Al-Jaber Consortium ; Contracting and Trading Company (CAT) ; and Punj Lloyd.
