DOHA - Work is in progress on the Doha-Halul undersea cable and full telecom services will be restored between here and the UAE soon, Adel Al Mutawa, Qatar Telecom (Qtel) Executive Director (Group Communications) said yesterday.
"We also have restored circuits on the additional routes," he said.
Al Mutawa was speaking at an event held at the Qtel Tower yesterday to award 18 winners of 3G Mobilecams. The awardees were chosen after a draw of customers who used the video call service on December 18, Qatar's National Day.
"We would like to thank the winners for using our service. In 2007, we introduced more services, products and promotional offers, Hopefully this year, there will be more offers," said Al Mutawa.
The winners announced yesterday are: Hamad Ateeq M A Al Marri, Hassan Ali A M Al Abdulla, Saif Al Naim, Abdullah Mohammad M F Al Hajri, Shaheen Eid A E Al Kuwari, the Foreign Information Agency, Ahmed Ali Hassan Al Asmar, Mohamed A Abdulrazaq S Y Al Eshaq, Bilal Bilal, Saad Al Kuwari, Abjad Al Qahtani, Anwar Hussain, Hamad Al Seelani, Taleb Al Marri, Fatima Al Sulaiti, Abdulla Ahmed A S Al Sulaiti, Mohammad Ali and Abdulla Khalfani.
