BIBF announced the introduction of two new programmes in the BIBF-DePaul University Masters Programs offered by DePaul University in Chicago.  The new programmes offered: the Master of Science in Islamic Finance and Master of Science in Real Estate will cater to the increasing market demand of real estate professionals and Islamic finance scholars. The programmes are offered in Bahrain for the first time.  Duration of each programme is one year and each program is structured on 12 modules.

Registration is now open for these programmes. The first module is scheduled to start in January 2009.

Dr. Mohammed Alkhozai, Head of Academic & Executive Center at the BIBF said: "We are very pleased to offer these new programmes through our partnership with DePaul University.

Both degrees are accredited by the AASBC.  Due to the influx of Islamic Banking in Bahrain and the region, there is an increasing interest in qualified Islamic Finance and Banking experts.  This is a golden opportunity for students enrolled in this programme.  As to MSc in Real Estate the burgeoning market and the construction development require qualified experts .
