BAGHDAD: Journalists Without Borders Organization disclosed that the Iraqi authorities prevented French journalist Nadir Dandon form leaving the country because the expiry of his entry visa.
In a statement, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, it described this act as "outrageous".
Dandon was released on 14 February last by a bail and moved to live in the French embassy in Baghdad.
The court closed the case and permitted his departure "any time".
Dandon, 40, was arrested on 23 January last for photographing military posts without prior permission.
Australian foreign ministry expressed, yesterday, its concern of the arrest of Dandon and it will follow the matter because he is having the Australian nationality.
